IQC (Incoming Quality Check) is for purchased materials from vendors. PQC (In-Process Quality) is during production. OQC (Outgoing Quality) is for finished goods before delivery to customers.

Inspection Type 01 is typically used for Goods Receipt Inspection against Purchase Order (IQC). Type 08 is used for Production Lot Inspection (PQC) during the manufacturing process.

How does Stock Posting happen in QM?

Stock is posted in Quality Inspection Stock (QI) until Usage Decision (UD). Based on UD, stock moves to Unrestricted (Good) or Scrap (Defective) or Restricted (Rework).
