Is Linux knowledge mandatory for SAP Basis?

While you can start without it, having a basic understanding of Linux/Unix commands is highly recommended. We cover the essential OS commands needed for administration during the course.

What is the difference between Basis and NetWeaver?

Basis is the underlying administration layer. SAP NetWeaver is the application platform that runs on top of Basis (including Web AS, Portal, and PI). Our course covers the foundational Basis aspects.
