What is the difference between Parametric and Free Form Modeling?

Parametric modeling uses constraints and dimensions (families) to control shape. Free form modeling is sketching without constraints. Revit primarily uses parametric modeling for BIM accuracy, but we teach both.

Is Revit used for Interior Design?

Yes, Revit has powerful tools for interior design, furniture, and casework. It is often used for creating detailed architectural elements rather than free-form art.

What is a Revit Family?

A Family is a collection of items with different geometrical properties but the same use. For example, a 'Window Family' can have multiple types and sizes. We teach you to create and manage libraries.

Does this course include MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing)?

Yes, we offer dedicated modules for all three MEP disciplines. You can choose to specialize in one or take a combined overview of all.

Do we teach Navisworks?

Yes. Navisworks is used for analyzing interference between models from different disciplines. We teach the basics of Navisworks and its integration with Revit.
