Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Model Space and Paper Space?
Model Space is the unlimited drawing area where you draw at 1:1 scale. Paper Space is used to layout drawings for printing with specific scales and title blocks. We teach both thoroughly.
What is UCS (User Coordinate System)?
UCS allows you to move the origin (0,0) to any location for easier drawing in specific angles. We cover World UCS vs. User UCS and its practical applications.
Do I need to know AutoCAD 3D before taking this?
No. Our 2D course is designed for absolute beginners. Once you master 2D, you will find learning 3D concepts much easier later.
Do you teach electrical and mechanical drafting separately?
Yes. While the software is the same, we offer different project exercises for Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical students to ensure domain-specific learning.
What are Xrefs in AutoCAD?
Xrefs (External References) allow you to attach other drawings into your current drawing. It updates automatically if the referenced file is changed, useful for large projects.
